Citizens of the United States of America, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada and Australia living in Indonesia are particularly well-catered for by the consular sections of their Embassies and other organisations. People from these countries will find information about consular services below.
UK Citizens
The British Embassy recommends that all citizens travelling to or resident in Indonesia register with the Embassy.

The British Consular Offices provide services to British citizens in Indonesia, including:
- Providing help to those who have been the victim of a crime
- Providing notarial services and letters that may be required by the Indonesian authorities
- Consular birth and death registrations
- Information on transferring funds
- Providing details of local lawyers, doctors, translators and funeral directors

British passports are not issued by the British Embassy. Applications for first passports and renewals must be sent to Her Majesty's Passport Office in the UK.
