English-language Cinema

Find out about cinemas in Malta, and where to find out what's showing at the movies...

Malta receives foreign films sooner than most countries in Europe, partially due to the fact that films don’t need subtitles nor do they need to be dubbed. No subtitles are added to English films, and English subtitles are added to foreign-language films. It should be noted that Maltese cinemas still have an intermission half-way through each movie.

Cinema schedules are available on the individual cinema websites.
