Who needs a visa to enter the Philippines?

There are a number of types of visa for foreigners visiting or moving to the Philippines. Foreign nationals from certain countries do not require a visa to visit the Philippines for up to 30 days, as long as they have a passport that is valid for a further six months, and a return ticket to their country of residence or to their next destination country. Foreign nationals who do require a visa to enter the Philippines must apply at the Philippines Consulate or Embassy in their country of residence.

Visitors who do not require a visa can stay for up to 30 days; however, it is possible to apply for a visa waiver to extend their visit for a further 29 days.
