The National Council of Youth Organisations in Korea (NCYOK) promotes youth organisations within the country and fosters relationships between them and with other groups around the world. Their Korean member organisations cover all fields: social, cultural, religious, sporting, environmental, health and hobbies.

Scouting and Guiding

  • The Korea Scout Association is the largest and most active youth organisation in the country, with 20 local councils around South Korea. Teenage boys and girls can be Scouts, if they are between the ages of 12 and 15. Venture Scouts is for older teenagers up to the age of 18, after which they can be involved as Rover Scouts
  • Girl Scouts of Korea is the national scouting/guiding organisation for girls, with opportunities for teenagers of all ages
