Information about the regional and city bus transport systems in Alicante and Murcia...
Benidorm, Denia, Murcia, Cartagena and other large cities on the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida are served by urban buses. Generally, information on routes and timetables is available from the main bus station (usually located in the centre of town) and on local bus stops. A plan of the bus routes is also often posted on the bus stop itself. Several bus companies operate out of the central bus stations. Be aware that routes, prices and timetables are subject to change.
The public transport coverage is much more widespread in the urbanised centres and is more sporadic in rural villages.
Most public buses are modern and air-conditioned.
