Information about Cabopino, including the main tourist attractions, local pastimes, history, geography and important telephone numbers...
Cabopino is a relatively quiet fishing and marina town, located between Marbella and Fuengirola, in the Municipality of Marbella. It has a small port for yachts and smaller boats, and next to the marina, is what is considered one of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol.
Tourism
The town has quite a few bars, restaurants, estate agents, and night clubs. However, Cabopino is probably best known for Cabopino Golf Marbella, an 18-hole course with magnificent views of the mountains and sea; on a clear day Morocco can be seen across the water.
Leisure Activities In and Around Cabopino
In a forested area next to the golf course is Camping Cabopino, a campsite with an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, football pitch, volley ball area and children's play area.
Artola Beach in Cabopino is a golden sand beach with paddle boat rental, restaurants and other services. The beach has a naturist (nudist) section, known as Las Dunas, which is undeveloped (meaning there are no facilities) and enclosed by sand dunes and pine trees. The water at Artola Beach is generally quite calm.
