Resident Card and Work Permits
Foreigners changing their work or personal address in Vietnam must inform the Immigration Department or local Immigration Office in order to update their temporary or permanent residence card. This must be done within 30 days of moving to the new address.

Banks
Banks should be notified of any change of address. This can be done by visiting the local branch with the identification documents (passport or residence permit) used when the account was first opened, as well as proof of the new address.

Taxes
Foreigners who arrange their own income tax should make payments to the local Tax Department in the area in which they live. If there is a change in address, they should inform the nearest tax office of the new address.

Where income tax is paid through an employer by deductions from the employee's monthly salary, the Human Resource Department of the new company is in charge of informing the Tax Department of the foreigner’s new address.
Insurance
Foreign employees working for Vietnamese companies usually have private medical insurance provided by their employer. When moving house, the Human Resource Department of the employer is responsible for informing the relevant insurance agencies of the new address.
Water and Electricity
If the electricity and water supply to a rented property is included in the rental agreement, the final payment should be negotiated between the tenant and the landlord if the tenant leaves before paying the monthly bills (unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement).
The service providers should be contacted directly to arrange termination if the contract is held by the tenant.
