Carpet And Kilim Museum
The collection includes ancient carpets and kilims. Open Monday to Friday 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00. Near Sultanahmet Mosque Court.
Aviation Museum
Collection of aircraft, engines, weapons and other aviation related objects. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 09:00-17:00. At Hava Kuvvetleri Muzesi Komutanligi, Yesilkoy.
Calligraphy Museum
Korans, calligraphic writing apparatus, bookbinding samples, holy relics, miniature from the Ottoman are displayed. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 to 16:00. At Beyazit Meydani
1839 Reforms Museum
Pictures, engravings and paintings reflecting the way of the westernisation of the Ottoman Empire. At Gulhane Park, Tahtakale
Istanbul Museum of Modern Art
Art exhibitions, library and cinema center. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-18:00. On the pier behind the Nusretiye Mosque. Reachable by bus or streetcar at Tophane. At Meclis-i Mebusan Cad. Liman Isletmeleri Antrepo No: 4 Karakoy, 34433 Istanbul.
Istanbul Toy Museum
This museum dedicated toys and founded by Turkish poet and novelist, Sunay Akin. 4000 toys are on display. Open all day except Monday 09:30-18:00. At Dr. Zeki Zeren Sok. No:17 Goztepe
Rahmi Koc Museum
Private museum. Exhibitions items are vintage cars, locomotive, submarine and machinery. Open Tuesday to Friday 10:00- 17.00 also Saturday and Sunday 10:00-19:00. At Haskoy Cad. No:27 Sutluce
Kariye Museum
This Byzantine Church was converted to a mosque in 1515. And It became a secularised museum. Building is covered with mosaics and frescoes. At Kariye Camii Sok. Edirnekapi
Basilica Cistern
Built to provide water during the reign of Emperor Justinian I in the 6th century, this is Istanbuls largest surving Byzantine cistern, and one of the citys most popular tourist attractions. Yerebatan Cad. 13, Sultanahmet.

This museum contains remaining mosaics from Byzantine Empire. Open Tuesday to Sunday 09:00-18.30. At Sultanahmet

Galata Tower
The cylindrical tower was for centuries the tallest building in Beyoglu, and still dominates the skyline north of the Golden Horn. There is a cafe on the 8th floor and a panorama balcony. Open daily 9:00-20:00 at Galata Meydani, Galata, Istanbul.

Galata Mevlihanesi Museum
