How does an expatriate set the standard for excellent health services for their families? Whether expatriates require the services of home care while in Jakarta?

Just share my experience today, I took GOJEK to office due to flat tyres. It was my first time, I was about taking a cab, I couldn't even reach the operator, I thought because it was in business hours so the line was busy. Then my driver came up with idea of GOJEK. I was like what the heck it is???? He called up and the GOJEK arrived in 15 minutes, I was totally stunned. For you who don't know what GOJEK is, it's a professional Ojek (motorcycle taxi) booking service, which is recommended for Jakarta traffic condition. It took less than 30 minutes from Kemang to Sudirman. The driver was so nice, he could speak english a bit and comprehend what I said. Unfortunately I forgot to ask his name. It's so professional, the meter is based on distance from google map system, fair enough right?? This is a new alternative for us in facing Jakarta traffic I assume. Cheap, easy and speedy. I'm thinking to be a member of GOJEK. We'll see.. Good job GOJEK!!

Dear all, As you may know, on Monday 20 October, the governor of Jakarta, Mr. Joko Widodo, or Jokowi as he is more affectionately known as by the public will be sworn in as Indonesia's 7th President. One of the leading news magazines has featured him on their cover, with the headline "A New Hope" A simple and action-oriented person, he certainly brings about a lot of optimism in this country. We're posting this thread, and keeping it open, so that anybody who feels like it, can post their personal message and wishes to his new Administration. Whether you are an expatriate or an Indonesian, this is a good momentum to share your thoughts. What do you hope for? What do you want to see change? Can you give some inputs for his Administration? (he's known to be very transparent and make use of technology such as the internet to leverage on the advantages of real-time and direct methods of communicating like this).
