Does anyone know what the best meat is to eat on Christmas day? What wine is best with it?
My girlfriend wanted to do turkey but I am not sure whether that's a traditional Christmas dish in France. Anyone know?
The Christmas Day meal isn't a big feature of French tradition - the local celebrations take place on the evening of 24th with lots of oysters. foie gras and so on.
Me, I like a duck or a goose on the 25th, washed down by a decent burgundy.
