Hi, after living here for 8 years we need to buy a new mattress (only) for our bed. We know what we want but as everyone will tell you one must try it out in the shop. However the cost seems much higher than the same type of mattress online but it's no good finding one in a shop then buying it online as there are so many makes and models you never seem to see the same one twice. Does anyone have any helpful advice tips or ideas? Have you bought a mattress here? What was your experience?

We have just moved to a house with an electric  immersion heater for the hot water.       Never had one before (always had gas combi in UK). What is the most efficent way to use it?    Leave on constantly or just an hour or two a day?    There is no on/off switch so would need to unplug at fuse box.   Just two of us in house.

Hi We have one full size pine tree in our garden and because I am fed up raking the needles  we have decided it is to come down.  It is at the top of a bank so must be felled progressively or it will damage my olive trees below.  We can clear it away but are not able to fell it, need someone with the equipment to climb up.  Does anyone know a ball park price for felling a tree so we know what to expect when we start to look for someone to do the job. Thank you

Hello: does anyone know an etameur in the Quillan area who can reline (recoat with tin) the inside of a set of copper cooking pans. This seems to be a lost art and our pans are showing quite a bit of wear. Thanks Janet
