I am looking for rugby tickets for my dad. However, since my knowledge regarding rugby is really bad I could use some help on the subject. Does anyone know what is going on in the French rugby scenery? Are there any international games coming up in this area of France? I would like to buy some tickets for the most worth seeing game so to speak, that is played before Christmas. Either international or within the French league. Web sites on the matter and how to buy the tickets are much appreciated. Many thanks,
Hi, we are looking to join either a tennis or badminton club (or both) in or around Carcassonne. We are a couple in our mid-40s have played in our local league in the uk (lower divisions though) but are both a bit rusty. We are decent players but definitely prefer a social game rather than anything too competitive. Any suggestions? Helena & Graeme
Any frustrated experienced sailors out there who wish to have a day jolly? No charges just for company and enjoyment; I have a well equipped 11 metre sailing boat situated in the Port Camargue Marina and will winter here until April. Possibility of a two month Mediterranean trip from April 2009 if interested send me an E-mail. Regards John
Hi - Can anyone suggest the best way to arrange skiing lessons for beginners in Mijanes or Camurac. We have a holiday home quite close to both of these resorts. Having never skied before would love to give it a go. We also want to know whether all equipment necessary can be hired at these resorts. Thanks Sue
Does anybody know of a friendly local dive club that doesn't expect me at great cost to re-train as a CMAS diver?, I am actually a qualified instructor for several agencies!!! with the best part of a 1000 dives and i am looking to get wet on a regular basis. After thought it have to be a club it could just be a group of like minded individuals. I am happy to help train others within a club/group.

Hi - Does anyone know of a decent sized swimming pool which is open year round near Prades? Maybe a hotel which lets non-residents use their pool for a small charge, or a private individual who would allow me to swim for a small payment or annual contract? I'd like to swim about 3 times a week. I have tried the indoor municipal pool in Vernet les Bains, but it is small (17m), rarely open, and doesn't seem to cater for adult only swimming, so impossible for proper lane swimming. (Unless you know better!) I live 3 kms from Prades, and would not want to drive too far. Thanks in advance for your replies,
Would anyone be interested in practising a non-competitive martial art in Béziers?. No prior martial arts knowledge required, in fact, none at all is even better. You don't have to be a health freak to do this sport, everyone works within their own limits. This is not Bruce Lee stuff, it requires grey matter not biceps. Lessons start back up again in September and training nights are Wednesday and Friday from 8 pm to 9:30 pm. Adults only (16 and over). All lessons are of course in French so a great opportunity to improve your French while learning a new sport. Please check out our website and then get back to me if you are interested: http://www.vietvodao-thanhlong-sonhai.com/ Don't bother looking for the English version, there isn't one.
