Hello. I own two properties and am about to sell them both. I have a charge against one of the properties that a bank has sold to a debt collection agency. The charge is against the lower priced of the two properties. If the higher priced property sells first, can the debt collection agency take the money (via the notaire) on the day of completion. I have a copy of the hypothetique showing the charges against the lower priced property and nothing against the higher priced property. In a nutshell a " bridging loan" was used to buy the lower priced property.
