Does anyone know of any practising falconers within reach of the Correze? I was a keen falconer in UK, and would like to meet up to talk and to hunt. Thanks.

You will have a difficult task as it is tightly controlled in France but, via your Mairie, get in contact with the local/departmental 'chasse' association who may be able to point you in the right direction or advise.

The tight controls are why I haven't carried on hawking myself. I thought I'd try to find someone who'd jumped through all the hoops! Thanks for the suggestions guys!
