WORK HOURS: Full-time: 40 hours/week
SALARY: Ordinarily Resident (OR): FSN-9 (€29,045/annum) Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR): FP-5* ($51,560/annum) *Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington.

FOR CONSIDERATION. The U.S. Mission in Lisbon is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Criminal Fraud Investigator.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION Incumbent is responsible for conducting investigations of passport fraud, visa fraud, alien smuggling, human trafficking, and other criminal actions that impact the national security of the United States. Incumbent builds and maintains relationships with middle to high level contacts in the Portuguese Immigration and Border Services Agency (SEF), Portuguese Judicial Police, the Portuguese Public Security Police, the Portuguese National Republican Guard, Federal Prosecutor Offices, and other Portuguese judicial and law enforcement agencies. Incumbent reports directly to the Assistant Regional Security Officer for Investigations and is responsible for directing and coordinating relevant criminal investigations.
