Reserva Natural do Estuario do Tejo
The tourist office can organise boat trips of the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve to see the wildlife of the estuary, which includes wild bulls, horses, flamingos and other water birds. Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra 1, near Alcochete.
Mafra Game Park
Park covering 819 hectares, part of the National Palace of Mafra offering the possibility to hunt game and deer. Guided tours by foot or train, other activities include archery, horse-riding and mountain biking. At Portao do Codecal, 2640-602 Mafra.
