Can someone explain who I exchange my license for a Portuguese one? Someone told me the process is ridiculously complicated.

I don't know where you're original license originated, but that link will provide information for every situation.

Good luck and post once you've exchanged it and gotten your new Portuguese license.

Thanks for all the help and I was able to get the necessary forms to my doctor and am now waiting for my Portuguese License.

I had a horrendous experience, so I just registered my GB license with the imtt - only needs to be reregistered every 2 yrs.
