Collegiate Church Le Puy-Notre-Dame

Chateau dAngers

Visit this chateau at Maze, Beaufort-en-Vallee (49). Built in 1775, it is a good example of French 18th centuary architecture and taste.
Les Perrieres
Trogolodyte caves in the regional nature park of Loire Anjou Touraine. In July and August experience the caves at night, after 20.30 on Monday evenings.

Dolmen of Bagneux
The Dolmen of Bagneux is situated at rue du Dolmen in Saumur Bagneux (49). Visits between 9:00 and 19:00 from June to December. This is the largest Dolmen in Europe, of neolithic origin.
Musee de la Vigne et du Vin
Museum dedicated to the industry of wine in the Anjou region of the Loire valley. Halls exhibiting centuries of wine cultivating. Good place to taste as well as educate the younger ones. In St Lambert du Lattay (49).
Chateau de Brissac
Chateau de Brissac is home to the 13th Duke of Brissac. A private chateau with suites available and tours of the chateau and its ground. In Brissac (49), between Angers and Saumur on the left bank of the Loire.
Chateau Montsoreau
Chateau situated in the village of Montsoreau (49). The village has been nominated “Village de charme” and “Plus beau village de France” and is known for its flora and fauna.
Chateau de Montreuil-Bellay
Fortress built by Foulques Nerra, with moats and fortified ramparts, gothic cellar, kitchen with a central fireplace. Many rooms with XVII and XVIII century furniture. In Montreuil-Bellay (49).
Regional Air Transport Museum
The Air Transport Museum at Angers Airport covers the historical period 1907-1970. Visitors can enjoy watching planes being restored.
Abbaye Royal de Fontevraud
Once one of the largest monastic complexes in Europe, with nine centuries of history. Open all year round at Fontevraud lAbbaye (49) for guided or unacompanied tours.

Chateau de Plessis-Bourre
Chateau open to the public for group tours. Used for gatherings, weddings receptions, seminars and other outings. No on site accommodation. In the town of Ecuille (49).
The Loire in Miniature
