Southern Trekking and Mountaineering Club
London-based mountaineering and hill walking club which organises weekend meets every two to three weeks in North Wales and the Lake District, offering extensive opportunities for all grades of hillwalking, scrambling and climbing.
A varied programme of walks offered throughout London and the southeast of England, ranging from 6 to 20 miles, every Sunday and most Saturdays. Some longer tours are also organised throughout the year.
Hammersmith Fulham and Wandsworth Ramblers
Walks every Saturday, Sunday and occasionally mid-week, of varying terrains and lengths, from 4 to 15 miles, and aimed at all levels of fitness. In Greater London and the surrounding countryside, and usually including a pub lunch stop.

Hillingdon Mountaineering Club

London Adventure Group
A diverse group open to anyone aged over 18, with regular hiking, cycling and watersports activities arranged, either day events or longer trips in the UK or overseas. Many social events are also organised.
Swiss Cottage Sports Centre

The Polytechnic Rambling Club
One of the UKs oldest walking clubs and based in Central London, with a varied programme of rambling and social events. Circular or linear walks in Sussex, Kent and Surrey, weekends in Cornwall or spent snow-walking, and trips further afield.
Rockhoppers Mountaineering Club
Members participate in all aspects of mountaineering from rock climbing to hill walking, high mountaineering to trekking, winter ice to summer sport climbing. The club is open to anyone wishing to join.
