Not Danse and a French favorite have created Corps Amour Anarchie on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Léo Ferré. The songs of Ferré are literally sublimated by the voices of Alexandre Désilets and Betty Bonifassi. The choreographers bring the bodies of the dancers into the poetic whirlwinds and the subtlety of the feelings of one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the twentieth century. Pierre-Paul Savoie brings the world of Ferré into the world of dance. Unexpected and so beautiful. Contemporary dance loses its hermetism and is draped in a form of sensitivity on the skin.
Body Love Anarchy reconciles chaos and harmony, purity and impurity, rage and lucidity. What a great tribute to Ferré from these Montreal artists!
