Fundación Amistad Británico-Mexicana

British-Mexican charity providing relief to areas of Mexico struck by natural disasters. Donations welcome via the website. Av. Rio Churubusco 422, Of. 401, Col. Del Carmen Coyoacan, 04100 CDMX.

Amistad Británico-Mexicana is a registered charity based in Mexico City, but operating throughout Mexico. Our Patron is HRH the Prince of Wales. Amistad reaches out to assist disadvantaged communities in their educational and healthcare needs, most specifically in the aftermath of natural disasters, but also wherever we see the need in calmer times.

In 2015 we celebrated 30 years since our founding after the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City. Since then we have come to the aid of communities after wind and flooding damage to schools, clinics and libraries. In two recent cases we were able to repair flood-damaged medical equipment in a clinic and refurbish classrooms in a community on the outskirts of Acapulco that had suffered from Hurricane Manuel in 2013.

In order to be able to undertake these activities, we campaign for funds after disasters and seek financial support from corporations as part of their social responsibility programs.

We also seek financial support from individuals and corporations that agree with us that by lending a helping hand in the country in which we live we are contributing to the overall improvement of society.

We invite you to look us up on our web page (click on the "Visit Website" above", contact our office and join in our efforts in whatever way you can. Donations are accepted via the website, and we also welcome help from those willing and able to dedicate some of their time to support our projects and activities

With the support of the community we aim to continue our work for another 30 years.
