A reconstruction of a Gaul village set on the banks of the Garonne opposite the town of Saint-Julien (31). Attractions include many houses of differing construction and Gaulish food.
Donjon des Aigles
Set in the grounds of an 11th century castle in Beaucens (65) a collection of birds of prey from around the world. A show set to music is performed every afternoon. Open from April to September. In summer parrots also fly in.
Cap Decouverte
Park in a former open cast mine with a skate and BMX park, dry ski slope, toboggan, 1.2km zip line, and water sports. Also mining museum and huge mining trucks. Open April to September (11:00-19:00) July and August 11:00-20:00. In Blaye les Mines (81).
Le Vert en lAir

Musee Cagnac les Mines - Mining Museum

Parc AKROBRANCH dOrlu
Adventure park on the edge of the Reserve Nationale Parc de faune sauvage dOrlu, Ariege. A range of activities and organised sessions for children from 2 years old to adults including canoeing, paintball and hikes. Groups welcome. See website (09).
