On a more personal level you might want to know that…
I was born in Ivory Coast from a Belgian mother and an Italian father and I have so far lived in Africa, Asia and Europe. I definitely know the challenges of being an expat!
I offer mindfulness-based psychotherapy, integrating more than 15 years of clinical practice with my ongoing experience as a mindfulness teacher and meditation practitioner.
My intention is to support you in becoming more aware of how you relate to your own experience, painful or not, and help you connect to your inner wisdom so that you can feel more serene and able to choose the most appropriate response to life challenges.
Even if I don’t necessarily teach meditation or speak about mindfulness during sessions, together we will cultivate concentration, acceptance and compassion, as the fundamental pillars of any authentic transformation.
How it works
The first session is mainly aimed at clarifying your needs.
In the following sessions we will explore, through your personal history and your day-to-day life, how what you think affects how you feel. Instead of trying to drive away thoughts or eliminate painful emotions (anxiety, sadness, guilt, anger or any other difficult emotion you might feel), you will be supported in recognizing, accepting and investigating them. This will naturally help you to let them go when possible, and to welcome them when necessary, so that you can find wise ways to take care of them and of yourself.
Sessions last 50 minutes and cost 130 euros (tax deductible as a medical expense).
In person and online
We can meet person in Semplicemente Spazio, Via San Calocero 3, MM S.Ambrogio / S.Agostino, or online on Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp.
English and French.
