I have received a few large artichokes in my surprise organic basket this morning and I don't know what to do with them, never having cooked with them before. Can anyone give me some ideas?
Artichoke risotto is a good one. I also recently ate artichoke hearts in a 5 vegetable tajine in a Moroccan restaurant.
In France I once ate the leaves raw with some kind of delicious dressing!
