Jack n' Jill are Recruiting Anglophone Teachers
Jack n' Jill runs English schools on Wednesdays, from 1-4pm, in French primary and secondary schools in the Paris suburbs.
Our Sessions feature:
Learning through play and games for younger children : 3- 6 years old.
For older children, 7-10 years : half-day sessions of three hours divided into a more formalised, structured language session for the first half based on oral participation followed by a workshop session for the second half, where the children use English to be creative - in theatre, sport, art, games, puppeteering…. you name it, we do it!
We create a real English primary school atmosphere with uniform, Sport's Day, Houses, Christmas Concerts, Parent-teacher meetings, homework… and the kids and parents love it!
And now: for 11-14 year olds, fun workshops and language in a full immersion environment - sports, art, theatre and language classes too.
Due to the success of the scheme there are positions opening up every week (we have just passed the bar of 200 students coming weekly to our two establishments in the suburbs and due to request, have opened our first Wednesday afternoons for Collégiens).
To join us as a teacher you will need to be an Anglophone and have grown up in an Anglophone country. You will also need to be at minimum a degree holder, with an ESL qualification.
