Roaming Schoolhouse - Weekly Classes & Holiday Camps are open for Registration
As parents, education is always at the forefront of our minds. This is all the more the case when we are in a foreign environment, battling with cultural and linguistic differences. It can seem like a daunting challenge.
Follow your heart and do what feels right for your child.
That’s what I did with Roaming Schoolhouse and my daughter liked it so much that I have now been its Director for 10 years.
Why was it the right thing for my daughter? The classes were small, all the children were bilingual, the teachers used a variety of themes from art to yoga and history to science to introduce new vocabulary and to reinforce other language skills. She made friends. She had fun. The entrance exam for Balzac held no secrets for her, because she had been prepared.
This is all still true today and my son is seeing the same benefits, despite his attention difficulties, because our teachers are trained to deal with different learning styles and are curious to learn more.
We strive to show that you can learn in a fun and structured environment, to show the “system” that there are other ways of learning.
