Chloe Chandler

French and English-speaking therapist. Based in Paris, I work specifically with expats all over the world who might be struggling. Although born in this city, I have moved back and forth between multiple countries and continents my entire life. As a result, I have developed an understanding of the unique stressors involved with living as an expat, how they can exacerbate preexisting conditions and create new ones.

As a therapist, my approach is broad-based. While I enjoy working from a psychodynamic perspective, I am not protocol driven. Because everyone is unique, I integrate other approaches to tailor the sessions to each individual. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in fostering change, and that problems should be addressed with compassion, understanding and awareness in order to help achieve relief and resolution.

I obtained my MSc in Counseling & Psychotherapy from the University of Edinburgh, where I trained in both psychodynamic and person-centered theories. I am continuously developing my skills through continuing education courses and training in areas such as trauma and crisis interventions. I also hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition from University College London and a BA in Psychology from the American University of Paris. I specialize in anxiety, depression, eating disorders and trauma.

I would be honored to support you during these trying and uncertain times.
