Irish in France Association
An Association for the Irish diaspora in France. The Irish community in France is a visible one, with Irish pubs in most cities, Celtic festivals and green-clad sports fans. St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween have made inroads into the French psyche.
The Irish in France Association is an over-arching organisation for the Irish diaspora in general. With a countrywide diaspora of an estimated 20,000 people, the aim of The Irish in France Association is to create a structure for the benefit of the Irish community, run by Irish people resident in France. It will create and support community activities and initiatives that foster a vibrant sense of Irish community and identity, and allow the voices of the Irish in France to be heard within the worldwide community known as the Global Irish.
The Irish in France Association will run several networking events throughout the year including a Gala Ball, a Family Sports Day, a Christmas Party, and a St Patrick's Day Parade.
The association will also provide information on activities, services and opportunities for the Irish diaspora in France.
