Chateau de Dampierre
A chateau constructed by Hardouin-Mansart in the 17th century. Beautiful gardens and lakes surrond the chateau. Open between 01 April to 15 October from 14:00 to 18:00, varies on bank holidays. Chateau de Dampierre, Dampierre en Yvelines (78).
Chateau de Rambouillet
The national farm or La Bergerie Nationale is in the grounds of the chateau. The farm was created by Louis 16th as a centre of agricultural research. It is now a living farm with pigs, horses, cows and chickens. Parc du Chateau, Rambouillet (78)
Musee Claude Monet
Monets garden is located an hour to the West of Paris on the banks of the Seine in the village of Giverney. Open daily except Mondays from 9:30-18:00 from April 1st to November 1st. Located in Giverny SNCF: Vernon
