Hi, can anyone recommend a nice, patient and gentle dentist in or around paris? i am absolutely terrified of dentists, but i am in quite a bit of pain and need to just bite the bullet and see a dentist. can anyone recommend one please?  thanks, sarah

Hello Everyone I am super scared of going to the dentist but I think that the time has come o do so again :-( However, being fairly new to Paris, I do not know where I can find a friendly dentist. If anyone has a dentist which they can recommend, who is gentle with scaredy cats like me that would be really kind. The dentist does not necessarily need to speak English but just to be gentle and understanding. Thank you :-)

Hi, has anyone had liposuction done here in Paris? Are you able to offer any feedback about where/who/how much and if they were any good? I'm not sure if this falls under the banner of "it's against the law to mention the names of the doctors" so perhaps it's safest to email me with your personal experiences. An English speaking cosmetic surgeon is not essential but would be a definite bonus. Thanks Nicky

I am 67 years old, have an S1 and pay my tax in France. I finished my Auto Entrepreneur activity in March 2011 when RAM was my Carte Vitale provider. I applied to CPAM for a Carte Vital and they are now saying the regulations have recently changed and they are no longer reponsible for providing my Carte Vitale but it is the responsiblity of CIPAV. CIPAV say that they do not issue Carte Vitale but it is the responsibility of RSI. RSI are saying CPAM are responsible for providing my Carte Vitale. Can anyone help with recent experience or knowledge as to who should provide me with a Carte Vitale or what I should do to get definitive advice on this problem. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello,  I am looking for a reliable moderately priced hair salon in Paris.   I grew my hair out for my wedding but my husband is not a fan of long hair (at least on me). The day after the wedding I went to a local Franck Provost salon and askef for an angled bob (a hairstyle that really suits me).  Results were okay but short lived.  Within two weeks it had lost its style and just looks raggedy and unkempt. As we are now settled in Paris I want to find a hairstylist that I can trust to do a good simple haircut each and every time.   I am bilingual so the person can be a French speaker.  Thanks for your suggestions.

Hello. I've lived in Paris for 11 years, and I'm looking for a good doctor who has gay male patients. I have a good doctor, but I am not comfortable taking all issues to her. If anyone can recommend a doctor who is either gay/straight, but one who is comfortable dealing with gay medical issues, I would certainly appreciate a referral.
