UNPACKING RACE AND PRIVILEGE IN PURSUIT OF EDUCATIONAL EQUITY
a professional training for educators
Are you interested or passionate about discussing racial inequalities in the classroom?
Have you been challenged with the lack of diverse and ethnic perspectives within your educational sphere of influence?
Have the recent events in the United States and around the world caused you to reflect on your own biases and prejudices, and are you ready to take steps towards action?
We are excited to offer a professional development workshop that explores ways to challenge and deepen your understanding of race and racism.
Using the Social Justice Standards by Teaching Tolerance, and with support of “Courageous Conversations About Race” by Glenn E. Singleton.
Our workshop model demonstrates how to integrate equity and diversity into your current teaching philosophy and curriculum.
