Urban park and arboretum with a walking path along the banks of the Escaut river. Proville (59).
Rando-Rail du Pays de Lumbres
Foot-powered individual pedal trains. Can accommodate those with reduced mobility. Follows the route of the old railway line from St. Omer to Boulogne sur Mer. Route de la Gare, Nielles-les-Blequin (62).
Promenade en baie

La Hottee du Diable
Walk that takes you through a landscape of huge boulders and woods.also an important archaeological site. Suitable for the whole family. La Hottee du Diable, Coincy (02).

Bois lEveque
A national 750 hectare forest. Formerly part of the Ardennes, it formed a border of the Roman Empire. Check with the Town Hall at Ors as the forest may be closed during the hunting season (59).
Aizy - Jouy
This walk starts in Aizy-Jouy a village in the heart of Picardy, you then climb to Rock watch a plateau from where you can see over the valley of Aizy. The walk takes 4 hours. Office de Tourisme du Pays de Laon (02).
Agincourt and Sechelles

Assis sur Serre
A 3 hour walk starting at Assis sur Serre and wandering through the valleys of de la Serre and Perron, the route passes some lovely churches, farmhouses and brick barns. Office de Tourisme du Pays de Laon (02).
Anizy Le Chateau
This 4 hour trail starts on the edge of the forest of Saint Gobain, it then follows the Hindenburg line at Hoquemont, where you will see several bunkers and trenches which are remains of the first world war. Office de Tourisme du Pays de Laon (02).
