A former naval officer, Pierre Loti travelled the world and his house was transformed into a wealth of memories from different countries. Open from February to June every day except Tuesday, July and August every day. At rue Pierre Loti, Rochefort.
The Museum of Models and Automata

Musee de la Poche de Royan
The largest museum on the theme of the Atlantic coast. 1500 m2 of exhibition rooms on the history of Royan, a martyr city completely devastated in 1945. The region was only finally liberated on 1 May 1945. Open all year round. At Le Gua, rte de Marennes
Museum of Olden Days

Maritime museum - Rochefort
