Can anybody tell me who I need to contact to arrange an electricity supply in area 16. Also do I need to make any kind of provision for their equipment inside the property?

It all depends-have you had wiring done in a renovation? Has it been passed by consuel or signed off or are just looking for a supplier?
I had the first fix done sometime ago and I thought I had someone to finish the job but I think they have let me down. It’s a barn conversion, so it’s all new wiring.
If it is a barn conversion then once the wiring has been finished off then it has to be inspected by CONSUEL Normally the sparky will arrange this directly with them Once you have a pass certificate then you can contact EDF to get them to connect you
I assume that the work was done an electrician trained to French normes and to french regs
