Administrative Assistant – Maternity Leave Replacement

Square Foot Self Storage is a well-established storage and transport company based in Biot and Cannes La Bocca, primarily dealing with Yacht-Clients. Position available from 21/02/2018 – 20/07/2018

We are a small team looking for a multi-tasker with great communication skills in English and French and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist their colleagues and visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone and e-mail, making transport arrangements, basic accounting tasks, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

·         Office tasks, such as filing, updating and maintaining the database.

·         Organising transports, liaising with transport agents and booking couriers.

·         Responding to daily enquiries via phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.

·         Prepare quotes and invoices, create word and excel documents and conduct research.

·         Handling accounts receivable, sending invoices, chasing payments, processing payments and updating records.

·         Welcome and assist clients with their needs.

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

·         Excellent communication skills in English and a good knowledge of French.

·         Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) Knowledge in an accounting programme/social media advantageous.

·         Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise long term projects whilst meeting short term demands.

·         Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.


Working hours are Monday – Friday / 08:30 – 17:00 with a lunch break.
