EBICA offers a unique concept of interactive modern education, with an exceptional openness to the world. Our teaching team has been carefully selected for their educational skills, their commitment to each students success and their multicultural experience. All teachers teach in their mother tongue.
The EBICA curriculum encompasses the IPC - International Primary Curriculum / IGCSE - Cambridge, and the French Education Nationale programmes, using dynamic teaching methods along with the best educational tools to support each child in their learning. EBICA has based these learning conditions on a deep knowledge of educational practices, stimuli, and child psychology. Teachers teach in their mother tongue.
Our educational philosophy prepares students for a world in constant evolution, autonomous study and responsible living. We focus on investigative activities, public speaking, the exchange of ideas, and research. Equal importance is given to the development of self-confidence, which we achieve by encouraging students to correct themselves and form their own opinions and decisions.
These are the classes of fundamental learning. The objective of these classes is to acquire a solid base in writing, reading and maths in French and in English. The most characteristic development in these age groups is the acquisition of skills and knowledge. The academic program is demanding. It has been carefully prepared, allowing the student to develop learning and knowledge skills. The child’s work focuses on the social and academic aspects. The student learns to organise his ideas, prepare for future events and take care of his personal work.
Logical thinking is developed through subjects such as geometry and problem solving. A vision and concept of time, space and the environment is learnt through themes covered in History, Science, and Geography. Physical Education, Music and Art compliment this important phase in the child’s development. The children work individually according to a given schedule while conserving their autonomy. The children are encouraged to work together in a non competitive atmosphere. The classes give the children the opportunity to create and function in a world with enthusiasm and responsibility.
