Mougins School was established in its present structure in 1987 and is an international school offering a British curriculum to students aged 3-18 and of over 40 nationalities. On a custom-built campus, sport, music , art and theatre are an integral part of the academic programme offering a well-rounded education which permits students to enter higher education in prestigious universities world-wide.
Six wooden-clad buildings blend into the natural environment, providing state-of-the-art facilities as well as sports areas and recreational space adapted to different ages. The Administration building houses the School Offices, the Library with its 11,000 volumes, computers for research and a full-time Librarian. The Café des Amis serves freshly cooked food on a daily basis. The Primary building has twelve colourful and spacious classes and a multi-purpose Hall. The Rosanna building houses further classrooms, an Examinations room and two Art studios. The Science block houses four Laboratories (general Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry) as well as a second IT suite with 22 computers. There is a first-class, fully equipped and versatile Gymnasium with seating for 200, an outdoor synthetic football pitch and games court. The final building is dedicated to the Performing Arts with two large Music rooms, plus smaller rooms for individual lessons where peripatetic teachers provide lessons in piano, guitar, drums, voice, saxophone. Musical performances throughout the year showcase the School’s choirs and several bands. A stage with professional sound and lighting allows the School to present both short and major theatrical or musical performances and the School is an Examination Centre for LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art).
