I OWN A FRENCH REGISTERED 2012 LEFT HAD DRIVE DACIA LOGAN WHICH IS KEPT AT MY FRENCH VILLA IN GRIMAUD - AND USED SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR TO TRAVEL TO AND FROM TO ENGLAND AND BACK.  IT IS ALWAYS FULLY COMP INSURED AND HAS A VALID CURRENT CONTROL TECHNIQUE WHICH EXPIRES AT THE END OF OCTOBER 20I9. IF I KEEP IT OFF ROAD UNTIL NEXT FEBRUARY (MY NEXT BUT ONE PLANNED TRIP DOWN TO GRIMAUD - SO IT WILL BE INSURED OFF ROAD AND GARAGED), CAN I LAWFULLY DRIVE IT NEXT FEBRUARY  TO A CONTROL TECHNIQUE  STATION FOR TESTING WHEN ITS C T CERT HAS EXPIRED - BUT IT WILL BE INSURED ?  IS IT LIKE AN ENGLISH MOT WHEN IT IS LEGAL TO DO SO (IN ENGLAND) PROVIDED I HAVE MADE A PRIOR MOT APPOINTMENT AND GO STRAIGHT THERE ? I AM DRIVING THIS DACIA BACK TO FRANCE FROM  ENGLAND SHORTLY FOR A FEW WEEKS BUT INTEND TO LEAVE IT AT MY VILLA AND FLY BACK.
