Hello Delia,
We are a french family with a 8 years old boy and we just come from holidays in Australia. We like a lot this country and people who live in.
We live in Grasse from 30 years and we would enjoy to meet you and give you some enquiries about activities. Perhaps our children could play and speak french and english together.
Bests regards
Brunhilde

Hi Brunhilde,
I am so pleased you liked Australia. Which parts did you see? We are from Melbourne.
We would like to meet you and I am sure the children will play, we have a boy who will be 8 in March. We are learning French but we are not very good yet but would like to practice as much as possible.
Let us know where and when would be suitable for you to meet us.
Many thanks
Delia

Hi Delia,
Sorry, I've just seen your reply. I hope you're fine.
We went to Brisbane, Darwin, Kakadu Park and Arnhem Land ( landscapes were beautiful and we have seen a lot of animals). We don't know Melbourne but we have seen on tv it was very cold in August .
Is it easy for you and your children to adapt in France ?
If you want to learn french, I will be very happy to help you.
It will be raining next week-end so I propose to meet you on the 5th of March at "Etang de Fontmerle" in Mougins (do you know ?). We could do a picnic and children could play together. We could wait for you on Picard parking in Grasse Saint-Jacques at 12h if you want ?
Best regards
Brunhilde

Hello Delia,
It's ok for 12:30 pm at Etang de Fontmerle on the 5th of March. We could meet us on the parking at the end of the road.
If you have any problem to find, you can call me (06 21 21 00 27).
I will take ball and freesby. Do you have bikes for your children ?
What kind of activities you and your children like ? I can think about festivals, activities and sports in the region.
I hope you will have a nice week end.
Goodbye
Brunhilde

Hi Brunhilde,
That sounds great, we will also bring a football a cricket bat and ball. Our children don't have bikes but we do have 2 scooters which we will bring. They are very active and love climbing, jumping, any ball sports they like swimming in summer. I love horse riding and so does one of my daughters.
We are trying to show them as much of French culture and food as we can while we are here. We would also like to take them to museums or small galleries that are chid friendly.
Thanks so much and look forward to meeing you on the 5th.
Delia
