Noise form holiday rental houses

Can anything be done if the neighbour rents out to holiday people making a lot of noise - mostly kids - all day shouting and screaming from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.? ! Then after 2 weeks another lot comes in and it starts all over again! Can hear from the language they have  all been Brits. The owner, who demolished previous house and rebuilt large new one with large new pool, is Swiss and very quiet!

There is nothing for you to do. Saying that - you could move far away permanently  or do the same as your neighbor and rent your house during the holidays.

Thanks for the replies - we would rent in summer but have had to install long pipes with ''electric drains'' as septic tanks were banned in this area and nothing can be put down them; we avoid anything greasy etc too. Everything has to be pump up to the main drains on the road above - quite a long way and with 3 sharp angles. Would not trust renters with the system. The house with the noise is actually on the road so presume they don't have that problem!

Talk to you Mairie. You do not have to put up with that level of disturbance. They will advise you what you need to do.
