Additional information on my clinical and theoretical work can be found on the Internet.

Nationality: Swiss

Languages Spoken: I speak English, French, German, and Italian fluently, am proficient in Spanish, and am now acquiring Arabic.

Clinical Specialties: Jungian Analytical Psychology, Psychosomatics, Prenatal Psychology. As an individual psychotherapist I work one-on-one with patients and treat anxiety, mood, adjustment, stress and somatic symptom disorders; but I also deal with identity and self-esteem, personal and professional problems and last but not least with personal growth and self-knowledge (Jung’s Path of Individuation). My therapeutic approach is primarily psychoanalitical but, according to the needs of the person, I also draw on other psychological approaches and intervention techniques such as mindfulness. I might also ask the patient to tackle certain tasks designed to help develop, cultivate and reinforce more effective coping skills, even assigning  ‘homework’. And too, I encourage the reading of selected books and materials on topics treated in therapy.

Cross-Cultural Experience: I myself have a multi-cultural background, being half Swiss and half Italian and having lived and worked in different coutries (Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain and Africa). For over twenty years I have been accepting referrals from the United Nations’ agencies headquartered in Rome.
