F.E.S.T.A. Theatre Company, which recently presented to packed houses The Velveteen Rabbit at the Pergola Theatre in Florence, with a surprise appearance by renowned actor John Malkovich (January 2010) and Macbeth at the Bargello Museum (July 2009), is announcing auditions for Dracula at the BARGELLO MUSEUM in Florence, Italy, June and July 2010. We are currently seeking actors from around the world for this international production. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from the United States, Great Britain and other countries, as well as with local Italian artists, and to perform this classic in its native language. Sword and stage combat training will be a part of the rehearsal process with a world-renowned Fight Master and Choreographer. Monetary compensation is dependent on experience and need. Some housing and financial assistance may be available for actors not living in Florence. Rehearsals start around the 19th of May, 2010. The show will run the last week of June and the first two weeks of July (with the possibility of a tour afterwards). Dracula will be performed entirely in the English language (with subtitles in Italian for the audience) so a solid knowledge of English is absolutely necessary. FESTA is seeking trained and talented actors. Auditions will take place on Jan. 30 from 10:00 am - 1 pm in central Florence. Auditions will consist of performing a 1 to 2 minute classical monologue. Please come prepared. For an audition time, please write to Suzanne at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 347/9397010 347/9397010. I don't miss bottles of wine for a fiver that taste like vinegar, wind that cuts your face and everyone being drunk in every bar you go to at the weekend. What about you guys? Nik
