Shanghai Entomological Museum

Navy Shanghai Museum
Features 4 exhibition halls on the history of China’s coastal defense, the history of China’s territorial sea, marine equipment and marine-related artwork. 68 Tanghou Road, Wusong.
Hand-printed Blue Nankeen Exhibition Hall
Features displays of hand-woven and hand-printed fabric with patterns resembling those of blue glazed porcelain of the Song Dynasty. Open daily 09:00-17:00. No.24, Lane 637, Changle Road.
C.Y. Tung Maritime Museum
Features maps, photographs, and other Chinese maritime artifacts. Open Tuesday to Sunday,13:30-17:00. 1954 Huashan Road.
Museum of Oriental Musical Instruments
Features more than 400 instruments from ancient China, modern China and other countries. 20 Fenyang Road.
Shanghai History Museum
Features displays on the origins of ancient Shanghai, depictions of the urban city, Shanghainese folk customs and related topics. 1 Century Avenue, Pudong.
Dajing Ge Pavilion
Museum and ancient temple. Remains of walls of Old City of Shanghai. Listed as cultural relic. No. 239 Dajing Road. Located in Huangpu District.
Shanghai Postal Museum
Objects on display include a duplication of a horse-drawn carriage used in 1909, a truck model used in 1917, and historical postage stamps. Open 09:00-16:00 every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. 250 North Suzhou Road.
Shanghai Astronomy Museum
Displays include astronomical instruments, telescope pictures, and important figures in the history of Chinese astronomical research. Open daily 08:15-16:30. Western Sheshan Hill in Songjiang District.
Shanghai Museum of Public Security
Artifacts showing the history of the Shanghai Public Security department since 1854, as well as exhibits on prisons and firefighting. Open Monday to Saturday, 09:00-16:00. 518 South Ruijin Road.
Jewish Refugee Museum
Jewish museum. Former synagogue. Exhibits on Judaism and two permanent exhibits of area where Jewish refugees stayed in Shanghai. Open 09:00-16:00. No. 62 Changyang Lu near Zhoushan Lu. Located in Hongkou District.
Shanghai Insect Museum
Collects more than one million specimen of insects all over the country, suitable for "young parents" takeing their children to visit. Opening all year 09:00 to 16:30. No.300 Fenglin Road.

Exhibition Hall of Shanghai Aerospace
