I want to import my car from back home to Shanghai. How much are the import taxes that the Chinese customs and government charges? Thank you for your help.

You can rent a car or even book for a taxi in advance. Find your way to convenience in using Shanghai's public transportation or even driving your own. Many expats are into renting car or vans, some of them even do airport pick-up providing convenience and comfort for international travelers. http://shanghai.angloinfo.com/af/312/shanghai-taxis-shuttle-transfers-and-minibus.html

Riding a bike or moped or scooter is the most convenient way of transportation among expats. That's if you are just living nearby your work, school or to your frequent destination. Know more about these http://shanghai.angloinfo.com/af/468/shanghai-motorbike-and-scooter-sales-and-service.html

I accidentally ran over some nails while biking and blew my tyres. Are there any shops that fix bikes or sell replacement tyres? The local Walmart does not seem to understand my descriptions...

Anyone know of a good biking club in the Putuo district? I'd like to meet other cyclists in my area. Mountain bikers (if that exists in China) would be a plus!!!
