The greatest in the smallest details
A miniature replica of Rotterdam and the surrounding classic Dutch landscape laid out over 535m², making it the largest indoor miniature world in the Benelux. There is a whole miniature world to discover and experience!
Unique experience for all ages
Vast, rural polder landscapes are combined with the modern and historic architecture of the city of Rotterdam in miniature, including a miniature version of Europe's largest shipping port.
Day and night
Experience an entire Miniworld day in less than half an hour. Every 24 minutes, night falls on the miniature world. Watch as the showroom darkens and Miniworld is illuminated by the various streetlamps, office buildings and the headlights of cars commuting home. A truly enchanting view.
Behind the scenes
Visitors can also find out how parts of the layout are built in the open workshop. From the command control centre, visitors can see how the entire miniature world model is operated. With a special behind-the-scenes tour (for groups of 6 or more), you can visit parts of the model railroad not normally accessible to visitors. Make reservations.
Miniworld Rotterdam is located a short distance from Rotterdam Centraal Station, at: Weena 745, 3013 AL Rotterdam
Coming Holiday 2017: England & Scotland in miniature
Miniworld Rotterdam is always expending. Currently we are at work on a huge addition to our miniature world. Miniworld is leaving the Netherlands and crossing the Channel. We are building Great Britain! We have our eyes set on Holiday 2017 to finish this project. Beautiful English hills, the Scottish Highlands, castles, railroad bridges, villages, Celtic legends, Stone Circles…it will be a completely new and different experience in miniature!
