Zein's International Pre-School Playgroup - developing young minds through directed, creative play

Our International Pre-school is for children aged 2.5 – 4+ years old.  At Zein we recognise and work with the particular challenges and opportunities that leading an internationally mobile and multilingual lifestyle can bring.

Our tailored preschool curriculum ensures positive and observable development - building independence and confidence, ensuring an easy transition into junior or primary school when your child is ready...

We believe in the importance of intentional teaching of 'socio-emotional competencies' - a key success factor in bringing up happy, well rounded young people. Our programme aims to help children feel positive about themselves, their abilities and the people around them.

Our curriculum focuses on the Characteristics of Effective Learning and 7 areas of Learning and Development:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Physical Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

We undertake observation based assessments to track your child’s progress against recognised developmental milestones.

Our flexible morning or afternoon sessions offer an ideal option for parents who want their children to socialize, develop and learn but do not need full time Day Care - or for those whose children are not yet old enough or ready for a school environment.
