Dr Paolo Molino
Fully qualified Gestalt psychotherapist working with adults, couples, teenagers and families. Specialized in depression, trauma, victims of narcissistic abusers, existential crisis, eating disorders, relationship and sleep problems. Approach is based on discussing experience and emotions.
My name is Paolo Molino, and I run a private psychotherapy practice in Florence, in the Piazza Beccaria area.
I am a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist, and hold an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Istituto Gestalt Firenze. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist with Ordine degli psicologi, the only accrediting body for psychotherapists in Italy. I am fluent in (of course Italian), English and French.
While I work with a wide range of issues and experiences, my clinical specialities are:
Depression, trauma, victims of narcissistic abusers, existential crisis, eating disorders, relationship and sleep problems.
I can offer therapy on an ongoing or short term basis, and I also offer sessions via Skype (paolomolino) which also works well.
Arrange an initial consultation with me. In this session, we will go through what has motivated you to seek therapy at this point in your life, what you’d like to get from therapy, and what your expectations of the process are; if indeed you have any.
To discuss an initial consultation, do please get in touch. And of course, you are welcome to call or email me if you have any questions you need to address before booking an initial consultation. In the meantime, please look around my website to get a feel for my style and approach. You’ll find information about my training and experience, and a lot of information about my core training: gestalt psychotherapy.
Loosely speaking, it is an interactive discussion approach during which my goal is to equip my clients with their own emotional tools to choose to do and see things differently for themselves. And they learn how to truly feel the change. I am not shy to challenge old ways of thinking. I like to get to the root of a problem and to really understand that root.
This, I hope, enables clients to take responsibility for their own choices.
There is no better way of explaining gestalt therapy than through demonstration. And the best way of demonstrating gestalt therapy is for you to meet me for an initial session. I look forward to hearing from you.
